iPhone 13 to go on sale September 17

Apple's iPhone 13 lineup is just weeks away, and there are rumors that we will soon see the new-generation device.

First, it was revealed that the under-screen Touch ID fingerprint sensor did not make it to the iPhone 13 models, despite having been tested. The iPhone 13 models will be available for pre-order in selected countries on Friday September 17, which means that an event on Tuesday September 14 and an iPhone launch on Friday September 24 are most likely.

These larger sizes are part of an overall redesign for the Apple Watch this year, which will include slimmer bezels around its display and flatter edges. It is also possible that the next Apple Watch will feature a new color option, including a green version.

Rumours abound that Apple plans to release new MacBook Pro models with faster M1 chips. Both the 14-inch and 16 inch sizes will be equally fast, which would suggest that they will both use the same chip.

Beta Version of iCloud+'s Custom Email Domain Feature is Now Available

Apple will allow developers to use email to inform customers about payment options available outside of iOS apps. Apple will also create a $100 million fund for small developers and release transparency reports about the app review process.

Starting with iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey, users with a paid iCloud+ storage plan can personalize their iCloud email address with a custom domain name, such as johnny@appleseed.com, and the feature is now available to users in beta.

Apple Watch used to steal $500,000

For those who didn't see the announcement at WWDC in June: iCloud+ is Apple’s new branding for paid iCloud storage. It also includes new features such as Hide My E-mail and iCloud Private Relay. The latter is currently being labeled as a beta function.

A gang of robbers used an Apple Watch to steal $500,000 worth of cash in New York City last year.

According to the report, seven robbers concealed a cellular Apple Watch underneath the bumper of a car in January 2020. They believed the watch belonged to a rich drug-runner. This enabled them to track the location of the vehicle and steal the cash.

Apple's AirTag tracking accessory was announced just four months later. However, the robbers were already caught.
