Warby Parker will go public with one of its shareholders, Warren Buffett. It's Jimmy, and not Warren.

After securing a $3 billion private valuation last year, the eyewear retailer listed Jimmy Buffett in its S-1 filing. Jimmy Buffett, a musician known for his hits "Margaritaville", and "Cheeseburgers In Paradise," is listed as a stockholder in the S-1 filing. Warren Buffett, an investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway is also listed.

The DNA test was done by the two Buffetts to see if they had more than one last name. However, they found out they were not related, according to The New York Times. According to the newspaper, they call each other "Uncle Warren" or "Cousin Jimmy".

Both men oversee corporate empires. Berkshire has dozens of businesses, including Geico and See's Candies. It also holds multibillion-dollar stakes at Apple, Coca-Cola and other public companies. Margaritaville includes hotels, restaurants and bars, as well as merchandise, retirement homes, casinos and a Broadway musical.

Warren has been a friend of Jimmy's for over 30 years. Warren has performed for Berkshire's shareholders meetings several times and even performed a few skits, according to MarketWatch 2018. Warren also gave business advice to Jimmy and stressed to Bloomberg the importance of his followers and their loyalty to him.

He said, "Jimmy doesn’t need a rotating group of fans." He just accumulates them and doesn't lose any. Except for when they become old and die."

Warby Parker's shareholder roster doesn't include only Buffett. It also includes "Originals", author Adam Grant, who declined the opportunity to invest with the cofounders of the company, as well as Alexander von Furstenberg (the investment chief at Ranger Global Advisors, and the son fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg).
