ESPN has been told by sources that the teams are close to a deal. Madrid had submitted a 180 million offer to PSG for Mbappe’s transfer. L'Equipe claims that if that happens, PSG will then consider Borussia Dortmund's Erling Hailand, Manchester United's Paul Pogba, and Stade Rennes' Eduardo Camavinga.

Haaland, the Norwegian frontman, has been also being watched by Madrid and other Premier League sides. He could now travel to Paris and join Neymar and Lionel Messi at Parc des Princes.

Pogba is a long-rumored link to PSG. His contract expires in 2022, so he has not yet fully committed to United. A move to Paris for the midfielder would be a homecoming. He has five assists in two Premier League games.

Camavinga is 18 years old and has been shown interest by many clubs, including PSG, Man United, and PSG.

Camavinga's contract will also expire next year. This is something PSG may look to capitalize on in negotiations.

PAPER GOSSIP

ESPN also reported that sources told ESPN on Thursday that Manchester City is working to sign a deal with Juventus to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo. City could be left with several prominent players, with Fabrizio romano suggesting that Raheem sterling could also leave the club if there is a sufficient bid. Gabriel Jesus will remain with Pep Guardiola, who is keen to retain the Brazilian.

Sky Sports reports that Borussia Dortmund is hoping to sign Manchester United's full-back Diogo Dlot on loan, with the option to make it permanent. However, they are not the only ones interested in Diogo Dalot. Bayern Munich and AC Milan, where he spent last season on loan, are also considering him.

Willian's possible departure from Arsenal has been a topic of much discussion. Calciomercato now claims that AC Milan are interested. Their report also states that Sergio Oliveira, FC Porto's midfielder, is being considered by the Italian giants.

According to Sky Sports, Everton boss Rafael Benitez wants Burnley winger Dwight McNeil and Brighton & Hove Albion's striker Neal Maupay. The Financial Fair Play rules could mean that the Toffees may have to make compromises if they try to bring in either of these two players. They are struggling to get rid of players like James Rodriguez, Fabian Delph and Cenk Tosun before the deadline.

Lyon has been interested in Montpellier striker Gaetan Labourde. Le10Sport suggests that Clermont Foot's frontman Mohamed Bayo could be on their radar. The 23-year old has been a star in Ligue 2 before and has continued to impress since Clermont's promotion into Ligue 1. His form also caught the eye of Bordeaux and PSV Eindhoven.
