No, the Scale Model of Blue Origin’s Rocket Is Not an Operable Dildo

It's currently on sale at $69.
It's not a Dildo

Estes, a model rocket maker, has released a scale model of Blue Origins' New Shepard rocket. We are here to warn that it is not an operable toy.

This plastic object, which bears a striking resemblance with a penis, is not intended to be a pleasure to oneself.

This is despite the sticker price of $69.99 which, admittedly, sounds like a joke. We want to emphasize that it is serious. It is based on a rocket which, to the amusement of experts, appears a lot like an old dong.

It's a pretty impressive model rocket, to be honest. If you're willing to spend extra on the launch pad, electronic launch controller, engines and wadding for recovery, the model can be launched up to 400 feet in the air.

Shooting Wads

The internet was not surprised to have a lot of fun with the model rocket.

Gizmodo offered some wise advice: Don't shoot your wad too soon. This can limit your enjoyment of the rocket.

The Verge was a little more serious, noting the dystopian aspect of purchasing a scale model rocket of a billionaire dictator.

Some people claim that the trip was a vanity project. It was a massive pissing contest between morally blind, egotistical billionaires who could save many lives. You can do it!

Here's to the billionaires club with their strange, uh rocket-measuring contest. Preorders are now open for the dildo rocket model. It will be released, excuse us!, on November 1.

Do not do anything stupid. You've been warned.
