Delivering mRNA inside a human protein could help treat many diseases

It might be easier to deliver messenger RNA to specific cells by packaging it inside a protein. This would make it possible to use mRNA for a wider variety of conditions, including inherited disorders and autoimmune disorders as well as cancers.

The use of a human protein should not cause an immune reaction. Therefore, people can receive repeated doses of the same treatment.

Feng Zhang, an investigator at Howard Hughes Medical, said that this protein can be found in the bloodstream.
