Panos Panay, Microsoft Surface chief, was promoted to lead all of the company's Windows software and device departments in February. Now, he is an Executive Vice President and will be part the Senior Leadership Team that advises Satya Nadella, Bloomberg reports.
He has been interviewed many times over the years. Not only because he is Microsofts Chief Product Officer but also because he was involved in the creation and introduction of many Surface devices, including the new Surface Duo. He is also the one who is always pumped.

However, a few Microsofts EVPs such as Phil Spencer, Cloud + AI boss Scott Guthrie, have not yet returned to the list and there is no evidence that their roles have changed.
Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, has recently become more powerful than ever. In June, he was unanimously voted to be chairman of the board and CEO. This is the first time that both roles have been held at Microsoft since Bill Gates.
Panay joined the Sonos board in late 2013 as well.
