US Open qualifying: Emma Raducanu & Katie Boulter through to second round

Emma Raducanu, a young British woman from the open era, reached the fourth round at Wimbledon.

To qualify for the US Open, Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter from Britain won comfortably.

Raducanu (18) took just 61 minutes for him to pass Bibiane Schoofs (6-1 6-2).

Boulter, 25, who ranks 190th worldwide, was defeated by Gabriella Price 6-3, 6-2.

To qualify for the US Open main draw, players must pass three qualifying rounds.

Raducanu had a great run to Wimbledon's fourth round before he was defeated by Ajla Tomljanovic due to breathing difficulties.

Boulter and she are both bidding to be the first to enter Flushing Meadows' main draw.

Francesca Jones, a fellow Briton, won her first match Tuesday against Elizabeth Mandlik 3-6 6 6-0 6-3

Jodie Burrage and Harriet Dart are also part of Wednesday's qualifying.
