OnlyFans Reverses Course, Suspends Porn Ban

That was quick -- OnlyFans reversed course and will not ban sexually explicit content from its platform beginning October 1,... after protests from its creators as well as the general public.
The content subscription service, where many sex workers earn their living, just announced the news. It said... "Thanks to everyone who made your voices heard." We have received the assurances we need to support our diverse creator community, and have halted the October 1 policy change.

We reported that OnlyFans had blamed the planned porn ban on conflicts between banking partners and pay providers. This suggested they would no longer do business in the future with the site because of the content. However, it appears those issues have been resolved.

OnlyFans states that it stands for inclusion and will continue to offer a home for all creators.

This is a good news for creators such as Maitland Ward, who called the porn ban "cowardly", and Courtney Tillia, a former teacher who has become an OnlyFans star. They can continue to make big bucks and keep their subscribers happy.
