Harry Kane: Tottenham striker says he will stay at the club

Harry Kane, England's captain, says he will "stay at Tottenham this summer" but is 100% focused on the team's success.

Manchester City was keen to sign Kane, believing he had a gentleman’s agreement with Chairman Daniel Levy to leave Spurs.

Levy, however, has refused to negotiate for the striker.

Kane was substituted in the 1-0 victory over Wolves on Sunday and played his first game for the season.

He wrote, "It was amazing to see the Spurs fans' reception on Sunday and to hear some of the messages I've received in support in the past few weeks," in a Wednesday social media post.

"I will remain at Tottenham this summer, and will be 100% focused to help the team succeed."

We will keep you posted.
