What's the matter with Tony Hawk?
Sports is a vast and mysterious world. However, I am confident that you did not wake up expecting to find out about the possibility of buying a Skateboard with Birdman's blood on it. We are here, yet.
The "Liquid Death Skateboard", in fact, is infused with "100% real Tony Hawk' blood. According to Liquid Death's website the water company, which boasts the slogan "murder you thirst", is the only distributor worldwide of Hawk DNA-infused skateboards. This is perhaps the most surprising aspect of this development.
Only 100 skateboards are available in this limited edition. This is due to the "limited blood supply" issue.
Two vials of complete blood from Hawk were taken to mix into the paint for custom decks. Jake Tredo, senior account manager, stated that Tony has bled plenty of blood on skate ramps so adding a little more blood to the paint for custom decks wasn't an issue.

Here I thought that playing "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater", was the closest thing one could get the original inventor of the 900.
Although statements like "OWN TONY'S BLOOD" and "EVERY DECK CONTAINS 100 % REAL TONY HAWK DNA" may seem odd, they are true. Each skateboard is hand-printed in Southern California using a blood-infused graphic. 10% of all proceeds go towards helping to eliminate plastic pollution and build skateparks in underserved areas.
Tredo claims that the skateboards were sold out in 20 minutes.
