Moto G Fast (2020), the best Android phone under $300
Source: Joe Maring/Android Central
The Moto G Fast (2020), an interesting device, sits somewhere between the Moto G Power & the Moto E in many ways, but makes some cuts to get a lower price. The display is the same size at 6.4 inches with smaller bezels. However, the resolution has been reduced from Full HD+ down to HD+. The G Fast's screen may not be as beautiful or sharp, but it does the job. The Snapdragon 665 processor is still available, but the RAM has been reduced from 4GB to 3GB. The storage capacity drops from 64GB down to 32GB. However, there is a microSD slot that allows for expansion if you need more. The battery's 4,000 mAh capacity provides excellent battery life. Motorola's Android software is excellent and promises one major OS upgrade. The Moto G Fast (2020), works with all U.S. carriers.

Best ultra low-cost Android phone under $300: Moto E (2020)
Source: Joe Maring/Android Central
The Moto E (2020), if you really want to save money, is a good choice. Although it's not the most expensive phone, it's able to provide all you need. The Moto E (2020), design-wise, looks great. It's not too striking, but the plastic body with glossy back isn’t offensive. The Moto E (2020), has a 6.2 inch display with minimal bezels. This gives it a modern look. The model this year also features dual rear cameras and fingerprint sensors, which are new features not seen before on previous Moto E handsets. There are downsides to spending so little. The display's HD resolution of 720p is not very impressive. The performance is adequate for most day-to-day tasks. The 32GB storage available in the box is not enough. Motorola also doesn't promise any software updates. These are just a few of the many factors to consider before you spend your hard-earned money. However, if you have tight budget and don't mind spending more, the Moto E (2020), is a great choice. The Moto E (2020) has a large display and reasonable bezels.
3.5mm headphone jack
Fingerprint sensor
Water-repellent design
Compatible with all carriers. Cons: Some inconsistent specs.
Software updates are not available

Moto G Stylus (2021), the best stylus for an Android phone below $300
Source: Daniel Bader / Android Central
The Galaxy Note series is a popular phone for its stylus-tuning capabilities. However, if you don’t have the budget for the flagship Note, the Moto G Stylus (2021), is worth a look. It has a stylus included that you can conceal inside the phone, just like the Note. The Moto G Stylus (2021), unlike the Note, is quite affordable. The Moto G Stylus (2021) allows you to draw, take notes and navigate the UI. This is very useful when tapping small buttons on the screen. The display is 6.8 inches and features Android 10 as well as 128GB storage, which can be extended by another 512GB. The battery is 4,000 mAh and can be charged via the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SOC. A quadruple camera system is now available with a 48MP standard photographer, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, and a macro lens of 2MP. There's also a depth/time-of-flight sensor, as well as a 2MP macro lens. The downside is that you don't have NFC or wireless charging, and the MotoG Stylus (2021 does not sport IP water or dust resistance. Source: Xiaomi
There are many options on the U.S. market for smartphones. But if you get bored or live somewhere else, you have other options. One of these is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, which you can purchase internationally. It's amazing that the Note 10 costs so little considering all it offers. You'll be astonished at the 6.43-inch display. It boasts a sharp 2400x1080 resolution and a high 20:9 aspect ratio. The slim bezels have a small hole-punch cutout to accommodate the selfie camera. There are four rear cameras, including a 48MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide and two macro cameras, as well as 2MP macro and 2MP depth cameras. The Redmi Note 10 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor and 4GB or 6GB RAM. It also has 64GB or 128GB storage space, a massive 5,000 mAh lithium battery, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 CPU. The Note 10 does not have NFC so it cannot be used for contactless Google Pay payments. While this phone is a great deal, you should remember that international phones come with their own quirks.
