Drakeo the Ruler was taken into custody on Sunday after he recorded his Uber being stopped in a stream.
In an Instagram Live, the police can be heard telling the rapper that he should get out of the car.
After years of legal troubles, the rapper was released from prison in November after agreeing to a plea agreement.

After he uploaded an Instagram Live video of his Uber being stopped, a rapper was arrested.
Complex and other outlets reported that Drakeo the Ruler, a rapper from Los Angeles, Darrell Caldwell shared an Instagram Live video. It is not available anymore as of Monday afternoon, but has been republished across other platforms. The Instagram Live clip is a 2-minute, 20-second video that shows Caldwell being forced to get out of the car he was riding in by Los Angeles Police Department officers. He later claimed it was an Uber.
Caldwell was taken into custody by the LAPD at 12:59 on Sunday for an "excon with gun" charge. Bail was set at $35,000. Caldwell has had many YouTube smash hits that have been viewed millions of times. He was arrested at 12 p.m. on Sunday on a charge of "excon with a gun" and released on bail at $35,000.
Caldwell sat in his car during most of the Instagram Live before his arrest. The policemen could hear Caldwell speaking from outside the vehicle.
Caldwell was told by a policeman at the beginning of the video that "we're going ask you one more times to step out" and "if you say no, we'll do what we can."
The person continued, "Then I'm gonna take you out, then I'm gonna take you to prison."
Caldwell responded, "What's the f--- going on bro?"
Another officer might respond by saying, "Just get out the car and we'll take care of it,"
One point, an officer purportedly saying "I'm going take your child out of the vehicle, okay?" The video never showed the child.

Caldwell appears to be about to get out of the car, shaking his head. Instagram Live ended when a purported LAPD officer handcuffed Caldwell and yelled repeatedly, "What are you doing?"
Many people have criticized the incident online.
"Who has ever seen someone pull over at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday morning with their toddler son while riding in an Uber? WHOS ONLY VISIBLE CRIME was HAVINGTINTED WINDOWS?" tweeted Jeff Weiss founder of the online music site Passion of the Weiss.
Caldwell later stated in his Instagram Live, that he was riding in an Uber with tinted windows.
According to The Guardian, Caldwell has been in trouble with the law in the past. In 2018, Caldwell was arrested in Los Angeles for felony charges related a 2016 murder including murder and conspiracy.
According to The Guardian, he was not convicted of murder in July 2019. However, he was found innocent of possessing firearms. The Ringer reported that in September 2019, two charges were refiled by the Los Angeles District Attorney's office. They were shooting from a motor car and criminal gang conspiracy.
According to The Ringer Caldwell was held in jail while he awaited trial. He was released when he accepted a plea deal that saw him plead guilty to shooting out of a vehicle "with Gang Enhancement," The Ringer reported.
Caldwell was released while in prison and "Thank You for Using GTL" was recorded by Caldwell over the staticky phone line at Los Angeles' Men's Central Jail. Pitchfork ranked it as the 35th best album of the year.
Uber has not responded to our request for comment.
