Bloomberg reports that Apple CEO Tim Cook will join other tech executives next week in a cybersecurity meeting hosted by President Joe Biden.
According to Bloomberg, a Bloomberg source familiar with the matter said that the meeting will be focused on private companies' efforts to improve cybersecurity in the wake of an increase in cyberattacks over the past year.
They could also discuss cybersecurity efforts and collaborations between the government and critical infrastructure entities such as those in banking, energy, and water utilities. According to a senior official, tech executives will likely discuss software's ability to improve security in the supply chain.
Cook and Satya Nadella will be there, along with executives from Google and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
