Carnival cuts back on breakfast buffet bacon

Carnival Cruise Line is apparently unable to bring home the bacon because of procurement issues.
John Heald, Carnival's brand ambassador, stated that there were supply chain problems, including issues with the source of bacon, in a Facebook Live video.

Temporarily switching to an all-day bacon-in-the-line's Lido Buffets schedule was the solution.

Carnival stated in a statement that they are facing supply chain challenges like many other companies in the hospitality industry. Bacon is one of these items. Our guests were informed by Carnival that they will be serving bacon on alternate days at the Lido breakfast buffet. They have been extremely understanding and cooperative.

Heald made a joke about how the breakfast staple would need a "bacation" every day.

Heald assured viewers that other pork products such as sausages and breakfast ham would still be available.
