According to the Arizona president, COVID-19 has afflicted a majority of Cyber Ninjas' election audit analysis team, including its founder.

Cyber Ninjas, at the request of state GOP leaders, has been performing a highly irregular review in Maricopa County of the 2020 elections since April. It was due to submit its findings this week. This follows a process in which volunteers scanned 2.1 million ballots looking for signs of "bamboo", in an attempt to prove that they were fake and made in China.

State Sen. Karen Fann (a Republican) said that the wait would have to continue for a while. On Monday, Fann received a portion of the draft report from the company. However, she stated that Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan, and two other members, were sickened by COVID-19.

Local Republican officials certified that Joe Biden won Maricopa County with more than 45,000 votes. This victory was confirmed by Fann and Cyber Ninjas who fought over the election review.
