When the smoke clears, it’ll be WFT in the NFC East

The Washington Football Teams should have no roadblocks in the NFC East this season. That includes the Dallas Cowboys who were picked by many to win this division and compete for the Super Bowl. Let's see what happens.

The Football Team is poised to win this division, thanks to a solid defense and Ryan Fitzpatrick as quarterback. With 10 wins, they should be able do it easily. It shouldn't take more than that. Even if Dak Prescott's shoulder injury is minor and the Cowboys fight back, they won't win more that 10 games. Before I give the Cowboys more wins than 10, I will need to see their defense improve.

Fitzpatrick isn't Patrick Mahomes, but I get it. He is capable of leading this offense if he has a strong running game and a solid defense. Washington must reduce Fitzmagic's chances of them being thrown out of games. They can be the dominant team in the division. They will need to be more aggressive on offense. The defense is in place and should improve on last season's fourth-ranked defense scoring defense, which allowed just 20.6 points per match.

Washington and Ron Rivera are optimistic about Jamin Davis, the rookie first-round draft pick. While playing linebacker at the University of Kentucky, Davis was well-known for his speed, playmaking abilities, and quickness. Chase Young, the defense's leader, will be occupying the minds and heads of the opposing offensive coordinators. This should allow Davis plenty of space on the field to display his playmaking skills in his first campaign.

It won't surprise you to see Washington's defense ranked among the top in football by the end of the year. Washington has the potential to be great.

The NFC East, which includes the Eagles, Giants and Cowboys is Washingtons to lose in a division that also features the Eagles, Giants and Cowboys. The Cowboys have a franchise quarterback who can lead their team to victory. Prescott's status is unknown at the moment, as his shoulder injury remains a problem. The defense is what is really the problem in Dallas. The Cowboys' new defensive coordinator Dan Quinn (ex-Falcons head coach) will need to improve the defense. Prescotts status aside, it will likely be another long season at Big D.

Both the Eagles and Giants have questions about their QB positions as they both hope to bounce back after down years. Washington won the division last season with a record of 7-9. Washington Football Team is expected to win the NFC East with an aggressive, young defense and Fitzpatrick, a veteran quarterback, taking snaps.
