Full FDA approval of Pfizer Covid shot will enable vaccine requirements

The full federal approval of Pfizers Covid-19 vaccine by the surgeon general Vivek Murthy on Sunday will allow universities and businesses to request vaccinations. It will also encourage hesitant Americans to get the jab.
Murthy said that many universities and businesses have already made the transition to vaccine requirements. It is a reasonable thing to do in order to create a safe environment.

According to the New York Times, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is working to complete its licensing process for this lifesaving drug by Monday.

The Pfizer shot was administered in an emergency authorization. Experts continue to stress that it is safe, effective, and reliable.

Murthy stated that we have given it to hundreds and millions of people. It has been successful. We recommend that everyone get vaccinated as soon as possible.

The highly infectious Delta coronavirus strain is spreading rapidly, resulting in an increase in Covid-19 cases. Many southern states are having difficulty finding hospital space due to resistance by Republican leaders and the public against vaccinations and mandates for masks.

Unvaccinated Americans account for the vast majority of Covid deaths and hospitalizations in the US.
