A woman from America called the US representative and begged for help to get out of Taliban-run Afghanistan.
Rep. Carol Miller from West Virginia posted a recording of Saturday's call to Twitter. The recording features a woman's voice, which is sometimes heard waving and breaking down over her own tears.
She said, "Hour after hour, it's becoming more difficult."
She cried in between, saying that even though the cars go by, I feel like they're going to stop at the door, the Taliban.
She pleaded for help, saying "I'm really afraid", before the audio trail ended.
Miller stated in her tweet that Miller had "attacked the woman every time she attempted to reach the airport." Miller's office didn't immediately respond to a request by comment for additional information.
Miller tweeted, "Despite the danger she is in, she wants us all to share this." "We must ensure the safety of Americans, and allies, before it is too late."

The Taliban overtook Afghanistan just days before President Joe Biden's August 31 deadline for withdrawing all US troops from Afghanistan. This culminated in a total takeover by mid-2018. Biden stated in a press conference that the Taliban would not be able to take over the country and took control of it just days before.
The situation quickly became a crisis when the Taliban began to encroach on Kabul's capital. Photographs and videos show Afghans packing their belongings into cargo planes and trying to flee the country. Some footage shows Afghans falling from moving aircrafts at Kabul airport.
The Biden administration is now trying to evacuate Americans from Afghanistan.
Jake Sullivan, National Security Adviser, spoke to NBC News on Sunday for a "Meet the Press” interview. He stated that "several thousand Americans still remain in Afghanistan."
