Some of Trump's supporters booed him at a "Save America!" rally in Cullman (Alabama) on Saturday night, after he suggested they get vaccinated for COVID-19.
Trump stated to the crowd, "I believe completely in your freedoms. I do." "But I strongly recommend you get the vaccines."
The former president told his supporters that vaccines were "good" and encouraged them to get shots.
As you can hear in the video, Vox journalist Aaron Rupar shared his suggestion.
Trump replied to the jeers, "You've got all your freedoms," "But I happened upon the vaccine."
After the booing subsided, the ex-president joked that the public would be the first to find out if the COVID-19 vaccinations failed.

The Daily Beast reported that Trump's speech was in response to the allegations by his allies of trying to get him to run for a pro-vaccination campaign.
According to media outlets, Trump initially resisted the idea of promoting vaccines and was worried about his supporters. He also wanted to help President Joe Biden.
Forbes reported that Trump has previously praised vaccines, claiming that they "saving the planet." But, he has repeatedly stated that people should have the freedom to exercise their "freedoms". Forbes also reported that Trump said this before.
Although the former president was vaccinated at White House in January 2021 and the American public wasn't aware until March, it was widely known.
