How WandaVision Actress Elizabeth Olsen Brought Wanda to Life

Elizabeth Olsen, WandaVision actress, didn't know what to think about the series pitch. Deadline reports that Olsen said that launching a show such as this was a concern of his. Kevin's idea of telling this story in a Twilight Zone-like manner through a sitcom was so bizarre that it made me giddy with excitement to see what they come up with. The other problem was to get these super heroes that we are used to seeing on large screens onto small TVs.

It was dropped from Disney+ just as the pandemic began. To escape the Covid crisis, everyone was looking for escapism. WandaVision's sense of storytelling struck a chord with all who watched the show. This was the start of a new era in Disney content, some claiming it surpasses its cinematic counterparts.

An Emmy nomination was received for her performance as Wanda Maximoff, which is one of her first major awards nominations. Olsen found the character valuable and had lots of fun doing it.

This show was a great experience. It was great fun to be a ham and have a lot more fun. It's something I haven't had the opportunity to do in most of my work. It is important to be quiet, reserved, polite throughout your life. This makes it a lot more enjoyable to use the skills you have acquired over the years. It awakened my body to the things I love about work and im feeling positive residual effects as I prepare for my next job.
