Dallas Cowboys' goal is to have NFL's top offense, but how will it look in Week 1?

Ryan Clark states that Ezekiel Elliott is under pressure to produce for the Cowboys in this season's football season. (1:19).
FRISCO (Texas) -- Kellen Moore, the Dallas Cowboys' offensive coordinator, quickly caught the attention of his players at the first meeting in the offseason.

"Our goal for this year is to be No. He stated that the No. 1 offense was his goal for this year.

The Cowboys will begin the 2021 NFL season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 9, at 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC) Without their usual starters having taken a snap in training camp or one preseason game. Although the possibility of unfamiliarity or a lack in chemistry may be a concern, Dallas is focusing on the positive experience that its offense has.

Quarterback Dak Prescott is unable to take a snap in 11 on 11 drills since July 27, due to a latissimus strain. This comes after he missed 11 games last season with a dislocated and fractured right ankle. After offseason ankle surgery, wide receiver Amari Cooper was able to return to practice this week. Zack Martin, Guard, suffered a minor ankle injury and stomach bug. Tyron Smith, offensive tackle, was unable to play in 14 of the last season's games due to neck surgery. He also missed practice due to elbow tendinitis. La'el Collins (offensive tackle), who was forced to miss all 14 games last season due to hip surgery, sustained a minor neck/shoulder injury during Wednesday's workout.

"Where do you see us in Week 1?" Ezekiel Elliott, running back, said that he didn't know the answer right now. "Hopefully, it'll look pretty good."

The Cowboys' regulars, except for two second-year players Tyler Biadasz (center) and CeeDee lamb (wide receiver), have plenty of time to focus over the years in real games.

Elliott stated, "We don’t want to be the best Week 1, but we want to put some good stuff on there."

The Cowboys went 6-10 last season and have the chance to deliver "good stuff” in 2021.

Prescott's ankle has been fine this preseason and he was on pace to pass more than 6,000 yards in 2020. Elliott, who had a career low 979 yards rushing in 2020, looked as good as ever. He weighed 218 pounds, his lowest weight since his freshman year at Ohio State.

Cooper was the most successful receiver in Cowboys history with 92 receptions, despite being thrown by four different quarterbacks. Lamb was the Cowboys' top player in training camp and had a record-setting 74 receptions as a rookie. Michael Gallup, wide receiver, is entering a contract year. He has a 1,000-yard career to his credit.

Blake Jarwin was the tight end hot at the time. However, he sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his season opener. Jarwin's replacement, Dalton Schultz, had 63 catches. Cedrick Wilson was the fourth wide receiver for the team and had a 100-yard play in 2020. Tony Pollard, Elliott’s backup, ran two touchdowns of 40 yards or greater.

Is it possible that the Cowboys could have too many weapons with all their offensive talent?

Moore stopped before answering the question in training camp Oxnard, California.

He said, "Uh, no. I'm going to not complain about that." "I tried to find a way of saying yes, but I'm going no. Yes, I am truly blessed. We are in a good place, and we need to get our men back to health. Our group has a lot of flexibility, and that's something we are really enjoying right now."

Moore keeps everyone happy.

Cooper stated, "Winning." Cooper said, "That's how everyone will be happy. You know something is going well when you win a lot. No matter how my stats may look, that's what matters to me. I am happy if we win because that is what it's all about.

Dallas can use Elliott more if defenses focus on Prescott's arm or the Cowboys three star wide receivers.

Moore stated that in certain games, Moore may be required to pass the ball to Zeke 40 or more times. I don't really care. I don't care if it has to be thrown 50 times. Every game presents different challenges and opportunities. We had the opportunity to use all of them.

If defenses wish to stack the line, the Cowboys have the option to spread it to their wide receivers. Moore has promised to move Lamb, Gallup, and Cooper across the field this season. The Cowboys will benefit from this flexibility if they need to match up a cornerback with a receiver.

Gallup stated that "they're not going be able to follow your everywhere." They'll have to adjust their defenses. All of us being able play in the slot is a huge win for our wide receiver team.

Prescott stated that despite the talent, he does not want to throw for more than 6,000 yards.

Prescott stated, "For certain, we have to be balanced." "We are definitely explosive in the pass game. The tight end is evident in the number of receivers we have. You can also see the backs. This pass game will be endless, even if they are not in the backfield. We have to ensure that the run game complements each other. It all starts with the offensive line, which sets the tone for the run game. This will allow us to win the lighter boxes and allow us to attack outside teams.

"Once that happens, it's going be trouble for anyone we're playing."
