There are many great phone chargers available, so chances are you have some. Smartphone OEMs are gradually moving away from selling charging adapters with smartphones. This is a decision that has not been well received by many. Google is the latest company to announce that the Google Pixel 6 will not ship with a charging adapter. Apple's iPhone 12 was the first to remove charging adapters. This caused quite a stir. Samsung followed the Galaxy S21 series' lead and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 now don't come with charging adapters.
When phones were using a variety proprietary standards, such as Qualcomm QuickCharge and other standard specifications, it was common for a phone to include a compatible charger. But then, USB-C Power Delivery was introduced. Manufacturers were able to create chargers with wattages as high as 100W. This allowed them to standardize charging for phones, laptops, and accessories. You can charge all your devices with a Power Delivery charger.
Some people think this is not enough. They believe that charging adapters should be included with smartphones by companies, especially considering the high price of some of the most expensive Android phones. Companies argue that it is better for the environment and reduces electronic waste, as many people still have old chargers from their previous smartphones.

We'd love to hear your thoughts below on whether OEMs are right or if Android manufacturers should follow Apple's lead.
