A Colorado county clerk has been accused of helping to leak election data to a QAnon-influenced person.

According to reports, Tina Peters is currently under FBI investigation.

Vice News reports that Mike Lindell, CEO of MyPillow, has stated that he provides a safe place for a Colorado County Clerk amid an FBI investigation into the role she played in an alleged plot by a QAnon leader to leak election data.

Tina Peters is the Mesa County clerk and is being investigated for allegedly compromising voting machines as well as allowing Ron Watkins to access sensitive data. Insider previously reported.

Peters, also known as "Trump Truther", allowed surveillance cameras to be disabled for up to two years, it is claimed.

The Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold is investigating her. On Tuesday, the FBI also said that it was looking into the matter. According to Courtney Bernal, spokeswoman for the FBI Denver office, the FBI said it was working with Colorado's District attorney's office "to determine whether there was a possible federal criminal violation."

Vice News reported that Peters was in Mesa County, South Dakota to attend Mike Lindell's cyber symposium.

Vice News reported Wednesday that Lindell said to Vice News that a member his security team had leaked the secret location where she was staying, which Lindell confirmed to Vice News.

Lindell stated that Peters is now "holed in" in a safe house.

"She is worried about her safety." Vice News reported that these people were ruthless.
