Cristiano Ronaldo claimed that reports claiming he wanted to leave Juventus were "just talking"

Manager Massimiliano Allegri said that Cristiano Ronaldo will not be leaving Juventus in the summer.

Ronaldo, 36, said on social media that rumors of his departure were "disrespectful for me as both a man, and as a player"

Allegri stated that the Portugal captain would be staying in a pre-match interview.

He said that Ronaldo has never expressed any desire to leave. "He told me he is staying so that we can get that one out of the way."

Juventus will travel to Udinese for the opening game in their Serie A campaign, which takes place on Sunday at 17:30 BST.

Speculation surrounding Ronaldo's transfer has continued throughout the summer. Reports have linked him to Real Madrid, Paris St-Germain, and Manchester City.

Real's new boss Carlo Ancelotti discredited the notion that Ronaldo would be returning to Spain anytime soon.

"Cristiano, a Real Madrid legend, has my complete love and respect. I never thought of signing him. He wrote, "We look forward."

Ronaldo wrote in an Instagram post, "The frivolous manner that my future is covered by the media is disrespectful for all the clubs involved with these rumours as well as their players and staff."

In 2018, the former Manchester United forward, Alexis Sanchez, moved to Juventus (from Madrid) for 112 million euros (99.2m).

He became the fastest player to score 100 goals in May for the Italian side. This feat was achieved in just 131 games.

Ten months remain on the contract of Allianz Stadium's five-time Ballon d'Or Winner.
