Duke looking into source of bacteria outbreak at Coach K camp

According to a school release on Thursday, Legionella was likely to have been spread to many people who attended the K Academy of Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, an adult fantasy camp.
After attending the K Academy, all 84 of those who were exposed to flu-like symptoms including fever, muscle fatigue, and nausea are expected to be cured.

According to the school, no student-athletes were exposed to Legionella. This is a contagious disease that isn't contagious. It is thought to have been spread from a training room. Duke is still investigating the source.

The school released that "Duke infectious diseases specialists have worked together with federal, state, and local public health officials in order to identify the source of exposure. This likely occurred in a Schwartz-Butters Building training room." "All individuals who were exposed have been positively identified, and Duke doctors have reached out to them."

The K Academy is open to people over 35 who are looking to "live, train and feel Duke Basketball like no other." According to the K Academy website, each camper must pay $12,500 to participate.

The school posted a video last week of Zion Williamson at Cameron Indoor Stadium in a K Academy shirt.
