Last season, Fabinho was part of 30 Premier League games for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp says that Liverpool's midfielder Fabinho is "here and doing what he can do" after the death of his father.

The father of the 27-year-old Brazilian international died earlier in the week.

Klopp stated, "We all feel for his family and feel with them.

Liverpool boss, David Moyes, stated that they try to give him as much warmth and love as possible.

Liverpool will host Burnley in the Premier League at Anfield on Saturday, March 20, 2020 for the first time since March 2020.

After missing the opening 3-0 win against Norwich City, Jordan Henderson and Thiago alcantara were both in the midfield.

They were late to return from Euro 2020, but they took part in an informal friendly against Aston Villa.

Klopp stated that they are "much closer" and confirmed that negotiations with Henderson regarding a contract remain open.

Liverpool's unbeaten streak of 68 games in the league was ended by Burnley, who were playing in January.

Klopp stated, "We will do everything possible to get our first home game in front our crowd in 520-something day I think, and we want that to be a memorable one."

"Football can only be enjoyed when it is played in a positive manner. There are no guarantees, especially against Burnley, which can make your life very difficult.

"They have a clear style of playing so that's what they prepare for, not any sort of revenge or whatever."
