Elder’s ex-fiancee said he brandished a gun at her

According to Datig, the gun incident happened in the middle of heated conversation between them as their relationship was crumbling. She said that he was in his bedroom and that I was standing at the door. She said that he was talking to her, then he walked slowly over to my side, opened my door and pulled out the gun, a.45 pistol.
She said that he checked to make sure it was loaded as he was speaking. He wanted me to be sure he had it.

She said it was an act de silent scorn and anger.

It was a moment there... Datig stated that he thought it was a Phil Spector moment. Datig was referring to the Hollywood record producer who killed actress Lana Clarkson and shot her in his Hollywood home in 2003. My fear was overwhelming and I knew I had to calm down.

He threatened to throw me out onto the street at that point. I didn't respond or throw anything back, so I tried to use all my recovery tools. She said that I had just walked out. I locked myself in the downstairs bedroom.

Elder and his spokesperson Ying Ma didn't respond to inquiries for comment via their campaign email or personal email.

The campaign has focused on the Elders' attitude towards women. Both Newsom and GOP opponents highlighted a column he wrote in 2002, "Women know less about current events, political issues, and economics than men."

In Los Angeles, Datig (51), became well-known as a key witness and informant during the prosecution of Heidi Fleiss, a Hollywood madam. Datig said that she was paid $10,000 per day and received First Class air travel because she was one of the Fleissss' network women. Datig has since spoken out against human trafficking.

Datig claimed that she met Elder at a party at Playboy Mansion in 2000, but their relationship didn't begin until much later. They were engaged in 2013, but Datig ended their relationship in 2015 because he was concerned for her safety. In an interview with POLITICO, she claimed that he forced her to sign a confidentiality agreement after she was informed by Elders assistant about Larry's girlfriends. She agreed, saying that she was scared and I fled for my life.

POLITICO obtained copies of the NDA as well as the separation agreement between Elder & Datig.

Datig spoke to POLITICO despite the NDA agreement. He said that there was too much at stake in California's recall election. Datig, a conservative blogger and political commentator, writes and edits Front Page Index and supports former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, one of Elders GOP competitors.

Official bio of Datigs states that she produced over 100 shows for the nationally syndicated Larry Elder Show. This helped Elder's show rise to the top on a major global websitecasting platform.

Datig claims that she also started The Elder Statement blog. This helped it grow to over 3 million views in its first one year. She also mounted a successful campaign for Elders' behalf, which led to him securing a star nomination on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Datig recalled meeting Hugh Hefner, an ambitious talkshow host, at bacchanalian parties hosted by Hugh Hefner at The Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles' Holmby Hills Section.

Datig stated that Elder has taken to broadcasting in a robe like Hefner and was an A-lister at the gatherings. Elder boasts in a home video that she gave to POLITICO about his relationship to Snoop Dogg. He said, "I introduced him to the evil marijuana I taught him everything...Im the one who made his life what it is. I can't believe he turned my back on me, motherfucker."

Datig claimed she moved in 2013 with him, and that it was a volatile and destructive relationship that she ended after 18 months. She said that she was still producing his shows and helping with his efforts to get him a Walk of Fame star. My sobriety was at risk.

Datig, who grew up in Switzerland surrounded by guns and had a conservative father said she was a strong Second Amendment supporter. She shudders to think about the encounter she had with an Elder who was armed and dangerous in 2015, during their bitter breakup.

I was taught that you should never use a gun to anger and that you shouldn't use it when you are drunk or high. Elder, according to Datig, was an avid user of marijuana and was also under the influence.

Datig claimed that Elder pressured her earlier in the relationship to get a tattoo declaring her Larrys Girl. He even encouraged her to create one with the Superman logo.

After he promised to get a tattoo that would be devoted to her, she said that he agreed to let her have it. She said he never did.

Datig stated that she did not speak up when Datig displayed a large nude photo of her with the tattoo on their lower back for anyone to see.

Datig sent that photo to POLITICO. She said today that she regrets her decision to comply with his request and tried to remove the tattoo.

She said that she was once a victim of human trafficking, sex trading, and now she realizes it was a form of branding, similar to the ones traffickers often demand.

She stated that some of Elders' past comments about women have shown his true feelings toward them.

Celebrities are often surrounded by women who throw themselves at them all the time. This creates a feeling of disrespect.

Datig is a long-standing Los Angeles political activist. She is not unfamiliar with the harsh and tumble politics of Southern California or human trafficking. As a long-serving executive assistant to Nate Holden, a former L.A. Councilmember who was also a state legislator, Datig also attempted to recall Mayor Eric Garcetti but failed.

POLITICO spoke to her about her reluctance to be in the limelight again, and being tagged as the ex-hooker who turned in Heidi Fleiss. Her personal and financial struggles from decades ago are long gone.

She also used Twitter to announce: I am asking the voters of California for Larry Elder's permission to end my NDA! Politics is open to all! Voters have the right of truth! @LarryElder cannot serve in an official capacity. Let him know why you are interested!

California voters are considering their votes for the recall candidate. She said that she felt moved to endorse Faulconer and give her guidance to her followers on her website regarding the recall election. California is at stake.

Both Faulconers campaign as well as Datig claimed that she played no part in his campaign. Newsom also stated that the campaign has no connection to Datig.

No. She said that I'm not being paid. California is my passion and I'm doing it because of that.

It's about ability and capability, and Larry doesn't have the capacity or ability to do that, she said. She supports the recall, but warns Gavin Newsom that he is the devil you think you know. Larry Elder is the devil that you think you know.

She said Larry Elder is a brand. But, if Larry Elder becomes governor of California, it will be an implosion.
