Paul Pogba plans free-agent move to Real Madrid

According to the Daily Star, Paul Pogba will remain at Manchester United for this season but plans to end his contract to make a move to Real Madrid.

According to the outlet, the France star will join Kylian Mbappe at Santiago Bernabeu with his international teammate Kylian Bappe as part of a triple swoop in which Real Madrid will also target Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund next season.

Pogba's current contract has 12 months left. There were reports that Pogba was linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain. However, there are reports that Manchester United would require a fee of 50 millions to ensure they don't miss out on a substantial transfer sum.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could not resist the offer of the player to move to LaLiga as he is now looking to make a move.

The playmaker was ineffective on the first day of the season. He had four assists in United’s 5-1 win over Leeds.

Calciomercato reports that Lorenzo Insigne’s agent has turned down the possibility of him moving to Zenit St Petersburg. He still has one year on his contract, which has attracted interest from Europe. Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are the two clubs that have been interested in the player, but Internazionale could be a contender. Internazionale would also like to add the Italy international to its ranks.

Serie A's Mikkel Damsgaard, Sampdoria's 21-year-old goalkeeper, could be leaving the league. There are multiple clubs that are interested in his services. Calciomercato reports that Tottenham Hotspur is the top side, while Aston Villa is second. However, it is expected that the Italian club will require a fee of 35m to accept a bid. Damsgaard, who scored a free goal against England in the semifinals of Euro 2020 with Denmark was a star performer.

Dario Benedetto could be moving to Real Betis. Le10Sport reports that this is his next move. After being denied a spot in the starting XI, Arkadiusz Mlik, a Marseille striker, is believed to be moving to LaLiga to sign a loan deal. In 32 club appearances, the 31-year old scored five goals and provided three assists.
