Marc Stein, a league insider, said that the 2021-22 NBA schedule will be made public within the next week.
The NBA will resume a full 82-game schedule in 2021-22 after the pandemic caused it to reduce the 2020-21 season to 72. The season will begin on October 19th and continue through April 13. The second play-in tournament takes place immediately following. The full postseason will begin on April 16. The NBA Finals will begin June 2.
The 2022 NBA All-Star Game will be played at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on February 20.
There are many interesting matchups that fans will be looking out for when the league schedule becomes available. An appointment viewing will allow you to view the 2021 NBA Finals rematch between unaltered rosters of both the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks.
Klay Thompson will be back in the Golden State Warriors' rotation, after missing two seasons due to Achilles and ACL injuries. The team's progress will be evident with the debuts of Russell Westbrook and LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the retooled Los Angeles Lakers.
Some of the most intriguing subplots are Jason Kidd, who will take over as Dallas Mavericks head coach for Rick Carlisle, and Chauncey Blups replacing Terry Stotts at the Portland Trail Blazers.
Stein says that fans should be able start to circle those dates within the next few days. For those who aren't interested in more basketball, NBA Summer League action will be available from Las Vegas.
