Roma's Edin Dzeko (left), has been playing for Roma since 2015.
Inter Milan has signed Edin Dzeko, a former Manchester City forward, as a reaction to Romelu Lukaku's departure.
Dzeko scored his first Inter goal just before the deal was finalized. He did this in a friendly win over Dynamo Kyiv that took place behind closed doors.
Inter announced that the 35-year-old captain of Bosnia-Herzegovina has signed a two-year contract.
On a four year deal, they also added Denzel Dumfries of PSV Eindhoven.
Defender Dumfries displayed some impressive displays during Euro 2020 as an attacking fullback for the Netherlands.
Next Saturday, Inter will face Genoa in their defense of the Serie A title.
Dzeko, who has scored 119 goals in 260 Roma appearances for Roma, is an immediate replacement for Lukaku who joined Chelsea for 97.5m.
He was the 2008-09 Bundesliga champion with Wolfsburg, and the Premier League with City in 2011, 2012 and 2013-14.
Jose Mourinho, Roma's boss, is interested in signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham as a replacement for Dzeko.
