Sha'Carri Richardson will get a second chance at glory after she missed her chance at the Olympics.
SCR has been confirmed as one of the 9 competitors in the Prefontaine Classic at University of Oregon's Hayward Field next weekend -- where she will compete against Shelly-Ann Fraser, Shericka Jackson and Elaine Thompson Herah from Jamaica in the women’s 100-meter sprint.
This is Sha'Carri's first professional race since she was suspended for marijuana use prior to the Tokyo Olympics. She didn't race at all.

The three Jamaican sprinters mentioned above took home the top medals in the title event, which Sha'Carri would have otherwise participated in... placing 1st to 2nd to 3rd between them. Sha'Carri won the trials and now has the chance to do it again.
Her rep said that she will prove her worthiness in Tokyo at the moment she is able to.
