The Galaxy Watch 4 finally gave us the opportunity to view all of its features, and it is a great choice if you are looking for an Android wearable. Based on the high level of interest in these watches and their affordable prices, it seems that the concessions Google had to make for this partnership were worth it. Even though I am considering getting one, I have lost interest in Wear OS long ago. This means that consumers like me have the opportunity to purchase a product we like at a fair price. This is important, because I care more about the consumer's benefits than about how big a company is. This is especially important for Wear OS 3. If Wear OS 3 powered Samsung doesn't drive adoption, nothing can. Google now has Fitbit and these things are important, too. There will be more watches from Mobvoi and Fossil that are just as good or even better. I would even wager that luxury brands such as Tag Heuer will release new Wear OS-powered watches. If you're an enthusiast, or if you're browsing an article about Wear OS watches on the internet, those are valuable products that offer more options or may even be a better fit. While other brands are important, they don't have to be carried by Wear OS. Fitbit will be of value to anyone who is looking for a fitness tracker, which is many more people than we realize. Fitbit is a well-known brand, and some people will purchase a fitness watch just for the name. Not to be forgotten, watches made by other companies such as Google are not a factor. They are not the deciding factor. It's true that once you leave North America, there aren't as many iPhones available. Android is a global market leader with a 75-80% share. You won't see an iPhone in some areas. I am not trying to slam Apple or start a culture war. It means that the Apple Watch is not available to most people around the world.Source: Android CentralI don't like that the Apple Watch is better than any other Wear OS device. I am not an Apple fanboy. The company makes amazing products that are perfect for many people. That's great. Android-based companies also create great products that work for many people. It is up to you to decide what product works for you, not what anyone else thinks. You won't know the difference between the Apple Watch and the Android smartwatch unless you've tried both. It's a horrible thing to say, as well as read it. I don’t want an iPhone but I could use one. It's just not possible for me. Wear OS has two problems: clunky software, and terrible hardware. Both must be improved in order to compete with the Apple Watch. Since Samsung has abandoned its Tizen-based watch platform platform, the Apple Watch is now the only competitor. The Apple Watch looks a lot like the iPhone. The Apple Watch has great hardware and software. However, it does what it is capable of doing very well. There are some software bugs and it isn't perfect. It just works.
