DeGrom is currently 7-2 with a 1.08 ERA. He has had to endure many starts and stops throughout his season.Rojas stated, "He's frustrated." He wants to pitch. He wants to support the team. He can't do anything. You just need to be committed to these two weeks. The Mets are half-game behind Philadelphia Phillies in the NL East, as they open a home series against Los Angeles Dodgers Friday night. After his return from Los Angeles, DeGrom informed his colleagues about his current status.Rojas stated, "Even after hearing the news, I don’t think that’s going to put those guys’ heads down."Rojas stated that they haven’t created a plan to support deGrom in case the Mets reach the playoffs.Rojas stated that they have not spoken to Rojas in the past two weeks about any of this. "We are going to believe that these two weeks will go well for him.
