Manish Maheshwari is now the head of Twitter India and will be moving to the U.S. as part of a series. This follows a tension with New Delhi earlier this year.Maheshwari has resigned from his high-profile post, which he took up in April 2019. This was at a time in which he was named in two Indian state police cases (Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh) over allegations that Twitter was hurting sentiments in the South Asian market.Twitter employees received the update on Friday. According to an internal email, Maheshwari will assume a new role as Senior Director, Revenue Strategy and Operations in San Francisco.
