Avianca Expands Internationally With New US Routes

Avianca, one of the largest airlines in Latin America, has bases in Costa Rica and Guatemala. The airline has a vast network of routes to North America and has recently announced a significant expansion.Avianca filed its restructuring plan in May 2020 after it entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States. These new routes are expected to allow for sustainable growth and provide a wider network.Avianca expands its network to include new routes from five different countriesAvianca announced the launch of well over 20 international routes, many to the United States. These routes may be old routes, or they could be new routes. Although no information has been released about the start dates or aircraft types, they will soon.
