Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green to have precautionary MRI on sore hamstring, sources say

Jalen Green, Houston Rockets rookie, was the No. The Houston Rockets' rookie Jalen Green, the No. 2 draft pick last month in the NBA draft, was left with a sore right hip after Thursday's loss to Toronto Raptors in the NBA Summer League.According to sources, the Rockets don’t consider the hamstring to be a “significant concern,” but Green will have an MRI as a precaution. Sources said that he will probably sit out the rest of the summer league.Green, who played in the G League last season and opted out of college basketball, scored 61 points in 72 minutes. He shot 19-of-37 from three-point range, and 10-of-19 from the floor.Yahoo Sports reported Green would likely be absent for the remainder of the summer league.
