It was a lot harder to capture the essence of Field of Dreamsmaking something that came out of theaters 30 years ago still feel fresh.The Chicago White Sox followed Kevin Costner's lead out of the cornfields, and it proved that MLB was up to the task.It was a wise decision to remove a portion of the outfield wall, so that the Yankees and White Sox could walk side-by-side through the corn fields. The film score was played over the speakers.Rob Manfred, MLB Commissioner, confirmed that the Field of Dreams will be returning in 2022. It remains to be seen how the league ranks in this edition.
