He only switched to long jump in 2018 and produced one of the most surprising results in Tokyo, when he won 100m gold.He broke the 10-second barrier only in May.Next, he was scheduled to run at the Eugene Diamond League match in the United States on August 21.Jacobs would then appear in Brussels on 3 September, and then compete in Zurich on 9 September for the season-ending Diamond League Finals.
