Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr dreams of catching Tom Brady by playing until 45 years old

HENDERSON (Nev.) -- Tom Brady has just turned 44 and is about to enter his 22nd NFL season. Derek Carr enters Year 8 and it is possible that the Las Vegas Raiders quarterback might be targeting Brady.Carr, who turns 30 on Wednesday, said that he feels like he can play another 15-years, without any doubt, after Jon Gruden, Raiders coach, gave the team the day off for on-field practice. "Nothing is hurting. It's middle camp and I feel great. I feel strong, I feel fast, I feel explosive. It's the way we train.Carr, who is the Raiders' franchise record holder for passing yards (26.896) and touchdown passes (170), but is 47-63 as an starter, said that he had recently spoken with Yannick Ngakoue (26) about turning 30.Carr laughed and said, "The only difference is that I have gray hairs in mine." "I haven’t grown it out in quite some time; I have five gray hairs. What's the deal?"I feel like I'm 20. This is something I truly believe. Our generation can take care our bodies with football. I believe 30 is the new 20, and I am a firm believer in it. Science is the key to understanding, and this knowledge can be found in science.Carr was a second-round selection of the Raiders from Fresno State in 2014. He is currently at career highs in passing yard (4,103), passer rating (101.4), and Total QBR (71.0). After throwing for Las Vegas' 27 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, Carr was 8-8 last year.He will be playing in Gruden's offense for the fourth time. Carr has never missed a single game since Gruden returned from the Raiders. Carr was injured in 2016 and 2017 and had to miss two games due to a dislocated right thumb, a fractured right fibula, and a transverse process injury in his lower back.Carr stated that he feels stronger, faster and better than he did before he joined the NFL. This knowledge comes with more information about how to train, eat, and how to care for your body. It can be costly sometimes but it is definitely worth it."Because, I'm sitting right now in Year 8, and I can recall people before me saying things about Year 8 like, "Yeah! I'm miserable!" and then they couldn't even get out of bed. I'm blessed, man. I don't have these problems. And I've had broken bones. They rehab me and all the other stuff these days makes me feel amazing."
