Matt Nagy, Bears head coach, didn't see Trubisky develop in the way he needed. Nagy and the Bears traded up in the 2017 draft to acquire the North Carolina product at number 2. Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes were not available to the Bears. Although Watson is a better player that Trubisky, they may have missed one opportunity to save their bacon by passing on Watson.This fact makes Trubisky's comments about his new Buffalo home (while making fun of his former employer in Chicago), curious.
