European markets cautious, tracking sentiment elsewhere; Thyssenkrupp down 6%

Premarket trade on Wednesday morning in the United States was mostly flat, suggesting a similar muted opening on Wall Street.After the U.S. Senate passed the $1 trillion infrastructure bill on Tuesday, the Dow and S&P 500 closed at records highs. The bill includes $550 billion in new spending to support transportation and the electric grid.As peak growth slows after the pandemic, the Senate's infrastructure plan will likely give the economy an injection of boost.
