Puerto Rico will require hotel guests be vaccinated

All visitors to Puerto Rico must have Covid-19 vaccines.The new requirement applies to all employees of Puerto Rico's healthcare system as well as contractors and employees working in the executive branch.August 16th will see the new rule take effect.Only those who are unable to get vaccinated due to religious or medical reasons will be exempted from the vaccination requirements. To obtain an Airport Exit Confirmation number and a QR code, all travelers must complete a Travel Declaration form through the Puerto Rico Health Department's portal.Travelers who have been fully vaxxed must also present a valid vaccine card.Travellers over 2 years old who have not been vaccinated must show proof that they had a Covid-19 test within 72 hours of arriving. Unvaccinated travelers arriving in the country without having received a test result will face a $300 fine. The fine can be waived if the traveler provides proof that the test was completed within 48 hours after arriving on the island.In Terminal B, Johnson & Johnson can offer a Johnson & Johnson vaccination to visitors arriving at San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin Airport. Same service is available on Vieques and Culebra islands via the Maritime Transportation Authority ferry terminal at Ceiba, on the mainland's northeastern coast south of Fajardo.
