Patrick Robinson retiring, adding to New Orleans Saints' CB dilemma

Ron Butler, Patrick Robinson's agent, said that the veteran cornerback has told the New Orleans Saints he intends to retire.Robinson's decision will add to the pressing need for cornerback for Saints, which coach Sean Payton said his team had to address at the beginning of training camp.As part of their salary cap purge, the Saints released Janoris Jenkins, cornerback. Jenkins signed later with the Tennessee Titans.Robinson, 33, played in eight of his 11 seasons as a Saints player, including the three previous. He had two interceptions and four starts last season.In 2010, he was the Saints' 32nd-round selection. He has 16 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, and 2 sacks. He also has 338 tackles over his 123 career games.
