This 'flight attendant' stood atop Dubai's Burj Khalifa to promote this airline

At 40,000 feet, it is common to see flight attendants moving around a cabin. It's a different story to see one more than 2,700 feet tall, without any aircraft in sight. This is exactly what you'll see in the Emirates ad campaign. It features a woman dressed as a flight attendant standing on top of Burj Khalifa, Dubai. The advertisement shows a uniformed woman holding a set of cue cards in her hand encouraging people to fly Emirates. The final message is shown and the camera pans out to reveal her heart-pounding location, which is the highest point in the world's tallest building.A press release from Emirates states that the stuntwoman was one of just a few people who have ever stood at the Burj Khalifa's summit. Tom Cruise and the Crown Prince of Dubai were also photographed atop Burj Khalifa while he was on location for Mission: Impossible 4.Emirates is always looking to push the boundaries and challenge the status quo. In a press release, Sir Tim Clark, Emirates President, stated that we do this every day through our innovative products, best-in-class services, and advertising. The ads show the calm and confidence displayed by the cabin crew. This is our frontline team serving passengers and ensuring their safety.Safety was a priority throughout the production of the commercial. The stunt required a lot of planning, testing, preparation, and testing. You can see behind-the scenes video of the Emirates campaign on their Twitter account.
