A robotic thumb allows pianists to learn how to use FaisalLab.org's extra digits.Some people can control a robotic extra thumb to play the piano.Aldo Faisal from Imperial College London, along with his colleagues, have been working on a robot thumb. It attaches to the user's hand right next to their little finger. The wearer controls the thumb via electrical signals by wiggling their foot.Researchers have begun to test the device in order to determine if it can be used for any activities.
