14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros Finally Enter Mass Production

According to DigiTimes' new reporting, Apple suppliers have started mass production of the 14-inch and 16 inch MacBook Pros. They plan to ship as many as 800,000. per month by November.The rumours about Apple's forthcoming 14-inch and 16 inch MacBook Pro have been around for what seems like forever, but they are expected to launch soon. Multiple reports suggest that Apple plans a busy fall season with new products, including Apple Watches and AirPods.The new 14-inch and 16 inch MacBook Pros will be available before the year ends. They will feature a mini-LED display, a revised design, and an Apple silicon chip that is more powerful. DigiTimes today confirmed that production of the laptops began in the third quarter.DigiTimes reported previously that the new laptops will be launched in September along with the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7. Although theoretically possible Apple would prefer to host a second event in September dedicated entirely to the Mac than include it at the expected September iPhone keynote.Apple filed a number of unreleased products last week in the Eurasian Database. These included Macs and Apple Watches. Although the model IDs are not included in the filing, it is likely that they will be the new MacBook Pros or Apple Watch Series 7.However, the new laptops will be highly sought after if Apple decides to release them. Apple is said to have spent more than $200million in expanding its production capacity for mini-LED displays on laptops, and actively searched for additional suppliers to support its supply chain.
