This ban was imposed after a report by the New York Attorney Generals Office found that the CNN anchor had participated in strategy sessions with his brothers' aides. Cuomo was mentioned four times in the report's 165 pages. He was one of many outside advisors who received confidential and often privileged information that could have an impact on the government, despite not having any formal duty, responsibility, or obligation.
