Rosemary Bily became so tired in March 2020 that she couldn't get out of her bed. Rich Lamanno, her son-in law, stated that she slept a lot. Ms. Bily was exhausted for the majority of the month and had to rely on Tylenol or Gatorade.Eugene Bily, 90 years old, began coughing a few days later and also became lethargic.The new coronavirus would have been unknown to the Bilyss family if it hadn't been for a family get-together a few days before. They could have blamed the flu or simply advanced age. We heard that they could not breathe, had high fever and couldn't get up, as Mr. Lamanno recalls.About a dozen people had been invited to a Rockville Centre restaurant, Long Island, to celebrate a niece's birthday earlier in the month. But, one by one, most fell ill with Covid.
