Rudy Giuliani is being investigated by the FBI over a film he was trying to make about the Bidens and Ukraine, report says

CNN published audio that Giuliani, the personal lawyer of President Donald Trump, had leaked in June 2019. It showed Giuliani pushing a Ukrainian official publicly to announce an investigation into Biden to improve relations between the two countries.In July 2019, Trump called Volodymyr Zelensky from Ukraine, and he asked him to investigate the Biden family’s involvement in Ukraine. Later that year, Trump was impeached by his Democratic-controlled House of Representatives. However, he was acquitted by the GOP-controlled Senate.Giuliani's activities in Ukraine are being investigated by the FBI. They want to know if Giuliani, former mayor of New York City, violated foreign lobbying laws and worked for Trump in order to influence US policy in Ukraine. Giuliani denied any wrongdoing.After obtaining search warrants for the criminal investigation, federal investigators searched Giuliani’s office and home in April. They seized 18 electronic devices.According to Mother Jones, the FBI investigation into the film project did not produce a movie. Instead, it produced about 15 minutes worth of "low quality footage." The film's production was described as a disaster by people who worked on it, one producer stating that "they couldn’t get their s--- together."According to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, Dickson, who is alleged to have worked with Giuliani on the movie, had his home also raided in June by federal agents. According to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, the FBI stated that it couldn't comment on ongoing investigations so it wasn't clear if the raid was connected to Dickson's dealings with Giuliani.Mother Jones claims that Giuliani, Dickson and others continued to work on the film up until the FBI started investigating in June.Do you have a tip for the reporter?
