Foo Fighters 'troll' Westboro Baptist Church with love and disco

The Foo Fighters can turn a disagreement with the haters into an opportunity to dance. On Thursday, the alt-rock band played a Kansas show where they met again with Westboro Baptist Church. This hate group is known for being homophobic and transphobic as well as being bigoted. They have protested numerous Foo Fighters shows. Grohl preached love and dancing as a way to express solidarity with the protesters when Dave Grohl and his band fought again."I love everyone. Isn’t that what you’re supposed to do? He spoke into his microphone as he performed on a moving truck. Can't you just love everyone? Because I believe it's all about love. You shouldn't hate. What do you think you should all be doing? You should all be dancing. This last line is directly a reference to the Bee Gees' song "You Should Be Dancing", which you can listen to the band cover. In dealing with Westboro Baptist Church protesters, The Foo Fighters in 2011 and 2015 have always chosen to entertain rather than engage with their platform and objections. Are you honest? They have the right idea. All of us should be dancing.
